The passing of Patrick "Pat" Thomas Hughes occurred at his residence on Wednesday, May 4th 2011. He was 58. Born in Fredericton N.B, he is the son of the late Thomas James and Mary Audrey (Garrett) Hughes. Pat was an Electrician at UNB for several years.
Survived by two brothers, Peter and Gregory Hughes both of Fredericton and one niece Aleisha Hashey also of Fredericton. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Terrance Hughes.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A graveside committal service will be held in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date. The family requests donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Alcoholics Anonymous or a charity of the donor’s choice.
