Dorothy Winifred (Nee Ginson) Chase
1920-2010
Dorothy Chase of, Windsor Court, Fredericton, formerly of Oromocto,
passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton on
February 23rd, 2010. Born in Simonds, Carleton County, on April 11,
1920. She was the daughter of the late Henry Ward Ginson and Ada
Ginson. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Weldon Fraser
Chase.
Also survived by her children, Ronald (Ida) Chase of Riverview, Shirley (Mac) Campbell, of Australia, Richard (Wendy) Chase of Fredericton, four grandchildren, Terry (Kelly) Chase, of Amherst NS, Wendi (Bruce) White, of Amherst NS, Allison (Todd) Yurkowski, of Australia, Matt (Sara) Chase of Fredericton, five great-grandchildren, her sisters, Kathleen Stevens of Kingston NS, Ruth Breneol of Moncton, Evelyn Ginson of Oromocto, Edith Thorburn of Oromocto Lake and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Elaine and a brother, Robert Ginson.
There will be no visitation at the request of the family. The funeral service will take place at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Saturday February 27th, 2010 at 2:00 Pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
